Happy winter, happy New Year!
It’s 25 degrees out today (yesterday, tomorrow, next week) with 3 feet of snow determined to go nowhere...we’ve been building our fires, making so much lasagna, and trying to make the most of the season. Hibernation is the great work of Winter, but so is finding your spark in the dark. We must find ways to light the fire...of collective desire ;)
I am thrilled to invite you to a special Valentine’s day dinner at our home in the Hudson Valley on Saturday, February 14th.
Join us for an evening of celebration in honor of the sensuous and decadent nature of being alive, even through the darkest days of the year! A celebration of softness, togetherness, and kitschy indulgence.
My dear friend Lane Harlan will be at the helm of the evening’s liquid pleasures - pouring and imagining both the cocktail and wine pairings. Lane, for those unacquainted, is Baltimore’s hospitality darling, running some of the city’s most beloved bars and restaurants. Her energy couldn’t be better suited to the job–she has an effortless way about her, an ineffable grace matched with the most generous spirit. Her attention to detail transcends space and makes those around her feel seen and celebrated. Lucky us!
Dinner starts at 6! Expect 6 courses of meticulously sourced and intentionally prepared ingredients inspired by hedonistic pleasure, romance, and of course - the season. Each course will be paired with wine curated with the same unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, and sex appeal.
A non-alcoholic pairing is available upon request, please specify if this is something you would enjoy when you RSVP.
